IRFI re-engineered and re-invented the ‘cloth’ [old rags, wrappers, T-shirts, towels, socks] that 70% [PMA2020, 2015] that young girls and women use as their menstrual materials during their periods under the tutelage of an American-based NGO into the popular and widely accepted environmentally-friendly sustainable washable, reusable menstrual pads that have a life-span of 3 – 5 years, saving young girls and women enormous anxiety, hardship and money, allowing them to supplement their meals, complete their education and conserve their dignity and manage their periods appropriately.

Donated disposable and washable reusable menstrual pads to; *LEA Secondary School Maitama *LEA Secondary School, Durumi * LEA Secondary School, Kpaduma *IDPs Camp, Kuchingoro * LEA Secondary School, Gishiri, *Collaborated with Nigeria Ports Authority to provide washable pads to women in rural communities in Kano State, *Collaborated with the First Lady of Kebbi State to provide washable menstrual pads to women in rural communities in Kebbi State, *Collaborated with Café de Vie and Dufill Prima Foods [Indomie Noodles and Hypo Bleach] to commemorate WMHD and raise funds to procure and donate washable reusable menstrual pads to young girls in rural schools in Abuja * Provided food and non-food items including essential medicines to women and children in schools, rural communities and IDPs camps * Hosted FREE Breast Self-Examination, Hepatitis B and HPV Screening and Vaccination @ various locations in Abuja.
